Sometimes in the product photography world you get to work with some really fun products. Recently, we had a small business owner from Birmingham, AL bring us some fidget spinners that he had created. These are "all the rage" right now and this is by far one of the nicest ones I have seen. It features ceramic bearings to ensure a smoothes spin that keeps going, a copper body and is small enough to fit in kid sized hands. Honestly, we can't seem to put this thing down (now I see why the kids are addicted to them!). We had so much fun shooting this product that the owner gave us one to play with in our office..... now we may not get anything done except watching Youtube videos and trying new tricks. Oh well.... part of the job!
Nonetheless, here are some of the product images from the shoot. This was an easy product to photograph in our studio, so there isn't much to say about it. Knowing that he intended to sell these on Amazon, for a marketplace listing, we intentionally shot them very clean on 255 white. Keeping with one of our main rules, we took the spinner apart to highlight the features of this spinner of some of the cheap competitors. I think the images turned out well.
