One of the biggest concerns we hear from our Seniors is OMG… WHAT DO I WEAR?!?! Senior pictures are a HUGE deal and I know you want to get it just right!  What do I mean? Basically, you want to have VARIETY. Pants, shorts, skirts and dresses are all outfits that you can wear that can give your different looks a lot of variety.

While keeping variety in your different looks, you can still maintain modern fashion trends while anchoring them with timeless foundations. For example, denim. Jeans are a timeless classic and you can dress them up or make them casual and own it! Denim is denim right? Nope. Think about the cuts, skinnies, bell bottoms, straight legs etc. The cut is one place where you can modernize your look and stay on top of the trends. Jeans are so versatile! You can add a blazer and and pair it with statement jewelry and some high heels. Tada! A sophicticated look. You could also take those jeans and add a pair of converse and a t-shirt with some cool accessories and BOOM another look!   Not so hard, right?!?

When thinking about your session, at least three looks. Usually it's one sophicticated look, one casual look and one look for you to just have fun with. That last look can be perfect for those of you that want to mix in a totally cool urban grunge look (maybe for shooting downtown Birmingham), or for anyone that wants to incorporate something like a t-shirt of the college you will be attending or whatever. Keep in mind we want your senior photos to last a long time, so try and keep at least one look classic or timeless.

If you are having a hard time thinking about looks, you can always try checking out Polyvore or Pinterest. We love both for pulling ideas together! Below is something we put together to help guide you on how to accessorize and make your looks pop. We hope you like it and that it helps as you plan your senior photos!
