Do you clean your make up brushes? You need to!

Washing your make up brushes should be a regular part of your beauty routine. When you use your brushes, bits of make up, oil, dirt, and even bacteria can get trapped in the bristles. This will cause dead skin cells and bacteria to be redeposited back onto your skin while applying make up. If you're thinking gross, you're right!

Luckily, cleaning your make up brushes can be quick and easy! The easiest way to keep your brushes clean is to use a daily brush cleaner it like Sephoras daily brush cleaner. All you do is spritz it on the brush when you were done applying your make up and voilà! We also recommend a deep brush cleaning about once a week. Make sure to do this after you have done your make up for the day, as they will need time to dry.

Here's one way to deep clean your make up brushes.

You will need: a shallow bowl, gentle clarifying shampoo or baby shampoo, your sink, and a towel.

Step one: begin by running your brushes under lukewarm (not hot, it might damage your brush) water, rinsing out all the residual make up.
Step two: fillable with lukewarm water and squirt a bit of shampoo. Gently swirl your brush tip in the water. If you need to, you can also swirl the brush in the palm of your hand to work up a good lather.
Step three: rinse the brush tip under running water once again. Repeat steps two and three until the water runs clear from the brush.
Step four: use a cloth to wipe your brush clean, reshaping the bristles as you go.
Step five: lay your brushes flat on a cloth to dry.

And there you go! Clean makeup brushes, now go be Beautiful!
