How to ROCK in your senior photos!

Your senior year of high school will be bustling with activity, celebration, and preparation as you embark on your journey to independence and new adventures. One of the best ways to memorialize who you are at this exciting time in your life is with senior photos.  

So how do you take senior photos that will dazzle you, and everyone who looks at them? 

Plan ahead:  Take time to coordinate all aspects of your photo shoot in advance so you don’t become overwhelmed as your photo day approaches: clothing and accessories, hair and makeup, any special items that represent your accomplishments or interests, and location (you don’t have to settle for a studio with cheesy backdrops!). We highly recommend having your hair and makeup done professionally on the day of your shoot so you’ll be confident and camera ready.  Not sure what to wear or how to style your hair and makeup?  Our Boutique Senior Portrait Experience makes this process fun and easy! We’ll meet with you to plan everything according to your individual style. And our talented makeup artist and hair stylist will make sure you’re gorgeous on the day of your photo session!

Find a photographer you’re comfortable with, and one who takes amazing photos:  A skilled photographer can help you relax and have fun in front of the camera to capture you at your most beautiful and luminous. Look at samples of the photographer’s work—do they “wow” you or bore you? Does the photographer offer sessions in a variety of locations to suit your taste and add interest and vibrancy to your photos? We do! During your consultation, we can recommend great locations, or you can let us know of any special locations you have in mind.
