This week we shot some marketing material for Jeff, the owner of a start up financial firm. Like many of our clients, this new financial firm is on the smaller side, and they were looking at purchasing stock commercial photography or images for their marketing folders. When they finally found images they liked on Getty Images, the cost of usage for what they were going to use the photos for made it prohibitive for them to buy the images. Furthermore, when you buy usage for a photo, there is nothing stopping Getty or and stock image company from selling that to another client. Therefore, you may not have the original marketing material you are after.
So, we sat down with Jeff and talked him through his marketing plan. We found out what was the important message for him to convey and helped him find inspirational photos for us to work from. Lastly, we suggested to the client that he ask some of his best clients to model for his marketing material. This gave him a chance to flatter his client and give them something really unique to tell their family and friends about (What a great selling point and way to spread the word of mouth of his business!).
We truly enjoyed working with Jeff and his company, and look forward to watching him grow! We will post the photos as soon as they are finished tear sheets from the designer!
