When I was first looking for a photographer for my senior pictures, I was so nervous! Senior pictures are a big deal, they get passed down from generation to generation; they stay with you for a lifetime! I didn’t want to end up with the wrong photographer. If you Google senior pictures, you will see thousands of funny-looking senior pictures that have been made into internet memes; I didn’t want to be a meme.

When I came across Alanna’s website, I was instantly impressed with her work. I contacted her and met with her about two weeks before my senior picture session. Alanna has a fabulous process that is truly like no other. She met with me a few weeks before my photo shoot to get a sense of my style and see how she could tailor everything towards me. Other places just don’t do that.

Other places are designed for the masses and everything is set up when you go in; you don’t get to give input into YOUR photos. There’s no special preparation beforehand and therefore everyone’s pictures end up looking the same. Since senior pictures last a lifetime and then some, I wanted them to be special and not just cookie-cutter school pictures.

The photo shoot itself is also an amazing experience as well! Alanna has makeup artists that did my makeup for the shoot exactly the way I wanted it, but not so wild that I will regret it in later years.  They styled my hair and were there in between shots and wardrobe changes to touch me up.  

Her makeup artists are true professionals! The have all the latest makeup technology to make you look flawless and beautiful! All their products are hypoallergenic too so I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction to it. Her makeup artists also do work for big names, like B-Metro! They are all very friendly and nice too! That’s how I know so much about them! They are super amazing and nice and by the end of the day I felt like I was hanging out with friends.

Alanna also made my pictures completely unique by taking me on location to shoot part of my pictures. When she does your consultation and gets a sense of your style, Alanna and her team will start to put together location ideas for your shoot.

Alanna took extra steps to ensure that my pictures were truly like no other! The experience she gave me, along with the incredible photos, is something I will take with me and treasure for a lifetime. I am so glad I made the right choice for my senior photographer! I recommend her to all my friends and everyone I know. Everyone is unique and special in his or her own way and Alanna goes above and beyond to capture it.
